On the evening of 19 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) carried Ahmad al-Mousawi, deputy head of the Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc, saying Fayyadh's disdain toward parliament is astonishing, that his presence insults the PMF, that Baathists and terrorists had been appointed inside the body and members unjustly dismissed, and that signatures would be gathered to question him. Roughly an hour earlier the same channel aired political analyst Mohammad al-Husseini calling Fayyadh's replacement an urgent necessity and demanding accountability for the failure to evacuate PMF sites despite advance information about what he called Saudi aggression. Two separate voices on one AAH channel within the window converge on the same demand, which is why the finding rests above a single-statement filing.

“Changing Fayyadh has become an urgent necessity in this sensitive circumstance... those negligent in handling the information about the targeting of the PMF must be held severely accountable.”
تغيير الفياض بات ضرورة ملحة في هذا الظرف الحساس... يجب محاسبة المقصرين بالتعاطي مع معلومة استهداف الحشد بحساب عسير

“Fayyadh's presence is an insult to the PMF... if Fayyadh does not attend parliament we will collect signatures to question him... Fayyadh must be changed and the PMF chairmanship given to a figure suited to the challenges.”
وجود الفياض فيه إساءة لهيئة الحشد... اذا لم يحضر الفياض للبرلمان سنجمع تواقيع لإستجوابه... يجب تغيير الفياض ومنح رئاسة الحشد لشخصية تناسب التحديات
The chairmanship of the PMF controls appointments, dismissals and the administration of the body's personnel files, and an AAH-led questioning drive would put that control in play through parliament rather than through the factions' own channels.
