Within roughly 35 minutes this afternoon, iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) carried two lines on Iraqi arms governance: commentator Khalaf saying the government would exploit the weapons-monopoly file "to end the Turkish presence, inflate the Peshmerga forces and seize funds", and that Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf's talks with Iraqi officials would include that same file; and, last, the Muntasirun bloc — the KSS bloc headed by Falih al-Khazali — submitting a proposal to al-Zaydi to form a Higher Council for Armament. The channel gives no mandate, membership or legal basis for the proposed council and does not say whether the proposal was received or accepted. All three items rest on this one channel; nothing outside it in the collected window addresses either.

Read together, the two lines mark KSS-aligned media resisting the government's framing of weapons control while its bloc bids to sit at the top of any arms-governance body that emerges.
