Three KH channels push Babil chairman's Jurf al-Nasr line in four minutes

WHAT HAPPENED

Between roughly 18:56 and 19:00 this evening, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official), Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) and Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) each posted the same quotation from Babil provincial council chairman Asaad al-Muslamawi: that the residents of Jurf al-Nasr are present in the province and are not satisfied with sectarian statements. The wording is near-identical across the three, and the statement belongs to the provincial official, not to Kataib Hezbollah. In the same hours, Bahaa al-Araji on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) addressed the same place under its other name, saying Jurf al-Sakhar was a source of terrorism and that whoever denies its liberation is not an Iraqi.

WHY IT MATTERS

Return of displaced residents to the Jurf area is a live administrative question in Babil, and the two networks are supplying provincial politics with incompatible starting points — a residency-and-grievance frame on one side, a terrorism-and-liberation frame on the other.
