The Interior Ministry announced the closure of 71 offices falsely claiming affiliation with the Popular Mobilization Forces, alongside a national database covering six million weapons; Kurdistan24 and Anadolu Ajansı reported both measures this morning. The Popular Mobilization Commission then issued a notice stating the offices "have no connection whatsoever" to it, that closure and follow-up were executed by its own General Directorate of Security and Discipline within the permanent weapons-inventory committee formed by the commander-in-chief, and that legal and administrative action would continue against anyone impersonating it. The rung is clear and convincing: the state measure and the Commission text are independently reported, and the Commission's own wording is carried identically by five separate faction networks.
