The Iraqi Interior Ministry announced the closure of 71 offices claiming affiliation with the PMF, a weapons information bank covering six million items, more than half a million weapons registered, and a warning that any drone launched without approvals would be treated as terrorism. The PMF responded that the offices "have no connection to us" and that their closure and follow-up were executed by its own General Directorate of Security and Discipline within the permanent weapons-control committee formed by the commander-in-chief. That denial was carried by iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) and Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official) within minutes of each other this morning, and reported outside the militia channels by Rudaw, Kurdistan24, Shafaq News and Al-Araby al-Jadeed.
