Al-Ghadeer TV, the Badr Organization's official outlet, carried the line that "we showed the United States that we have missiles and defensive capabilities"; iNEWS, affiliated with Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada, carried the harder claim that "our attacks turned the American sites in Kuwait into rubble and evacuated many American forces from Erbil." Both items attribute the words to Rezaei; neither names an Iraqi group as the perpetrator, and the rung is held to preponderance because the only lines in hand are these two relays of the same quoted speaker, with no outside coverage of the alleged Kuwait or Erbil events.
