Between 10:53 and 11:40 on 9 August, channels belonging to KSS, Badr, KH, Nujaba, AAH and Ashab al-Kahf published scans of two documents dated 29 July 2026: an arrest and search order against former Labor and Social Affairs Minister Ahmed Jasim Saber al-Asadi for failing to prove the legality of an increase in his assets, and a request from the Karkh anti-corruption investigative court that parliament lift the immunity of MP Nazem Muhammad Duwaij al-Asadi over benefiting from Labor Ministry contracts and an agreement with the former minister to register a company in the name of a member of his protection detail. iNEWS attributed the arrest-order report to the official news agency; the documents themselves are circulating scans and their authenticity is not independently established in the collected material.
