Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) published a statement of Alaa al-Haidari, identified in the graphic as head of the al-Asas parliamentary bloc, reading: "House of Saud, this has not and will not pass you unnoticed, and you know well who the Karbalai Husseinis are — those who made your creations al-Qaeda and Daesh taste humiliation... the Iraqi government must shoulder its national and moral responsibilities over what happened, respond to the aggression and adopt it officially as they officially adopted theirs, within a policy of deterrence and reciprocity, and halt any security and economic coordination with the parties involved in the treacherous aggression." The same channel earlier carried the Brigade 30 casualty statement and the PMF media director's framing of the strikes. No other tracked actor in this window demanded severance of security and economic coordination.
By demanding a state-adopted reciprocal strike and a rupture in security and economic coordination with Washington and Riyadh, Nujaba sets a bar whose non-fulfilment becomes its own justification for acting outside the state.
