Across roughly twenty minutes this evening, three militia-linked channels addressed the confinement of weapons to the Iraqi state. Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) aired its Wasit representative Muhammad al-Safi putting a question to everyone calling for weapons to be taken from the resistance; Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) published a satirical item under the label "Acid News" mocking a man it named as Ali Adel for filming a phone video announcing formal commitments in the name of the whole Iraqi state on confining weapons; and iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) headlined the file as internal division and external pressure. The evidence does not identify Ali Adel's position or establish that the commitment he is said to have announced was official.
