iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) posted a sequence of images this evening showing a Transport Ministry order dated 6 August 2026, signed by Minister Wahb Salman Muhammad al-Husseini, terminating one employee's service and issuing reprimands, transfers and removals from post to more than a dozen named Iraqi Airways staff under the State Employees Discipline Law, following an administrative investigation into corruption suspicions and negligence at the General Company for Iraqi Airways. Around fifteen minutes later the same channel published a report by Muhammad Ismail on Diwaniyah province, calling the award of projects through direct contracting with implementing companies "an open gateway to corruption that squandered billions of the province". Visual review of the document images is consistent with an official ministry order but does not independently establish the document's authenticity.
