Kataib Hezbollah's own Al-Ittijah TV carried two consecutive quotes this evening from Muhammad al-Asadi, named on air as a member of the Kataib Hezbollah representative office in Maysan: that threats surround Iraq and weapons cannot be relinquished while those threats exist, and that there is no discussion of weapons while occupying forces are present. Both were posted within about a minute of each other on 21 August. The statements carry the weight of official faction media rather than an affiliated relay, and no other tracked channel in the window carried them.
