Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) reported at 21:09 that Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi hosted an emergency Coordination Framework meeting at the Government Palace "to discuss the American-Saudi attacks on Iraq's sovereignty." Within two minutes of each other at 21:03 and 21:04, Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated media) and the official Asaib Ahl al-Haq channel published word-for-word identical texts adding the Framework's condemnation of an aggression that "led to the martyrdom of a number of members of the Popular Mobilization Forces Commission," and its "astonishment at the attack on Iraqi territory at a time when the government adopts a balanced foreign policy based on building relations of cooperation and partnership with its regional surroundings and the international community." Earlier, at 20:04, Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada spokesman Sheikh Kadhim al-Fartousi said on the same KSS-affiliated channel: "we do not accept the Prime Minister going to Riyadh."
A faction spokesman publicly denying the Prime Minister a specific foreign trip, while his network relays the cabinet's own sovereignty language, sets a marker on who arbitrates Iraq's Gulf diplomacy after the strikes.
