Badr's Al-Ghadeer TV demanded the government take a firm and decisive stance while KH and Harakat Hoquq deputies on KH channels demanded a military response from the Commander-in-Chief, splitting the network on what Baghdad must do

WHAT HAPPENED

Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) published a signed condemnation this morning of "the sinful and unjustified aggression that targeted Iraq's sovereignty and its armed forces", describing an attack "launched by Saudi forces with support from American aviation" on PMF headquarters, and demanding "the Iraqi government take a firm and decisive stance" — with no call for a military response. On the same channels, the parliamentary Security and Defence Committee was quoted demanding the government summon the American and Saudi ambassadors and hand them a protest note, and warning that "in the event of procrastination and repetition of this dirty criminal act we will lose control of the region's security". By contrast, Unit 10,000 and Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) carried Harakat Hoquq deputy Saud al-Saadi calling on the Commander-in-Chief "to order a military response to the brutal Saudi-American aggression" and saying "statements alone are not enough", while Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) carried committee member Mahdi Taqi al-Amirli demanding only the ambassadors' summons plus the same loss-of-control warning.

WHY IT MATTERS

The gap defines who will own the response: if Baghdad delivers only protest notes, KH-aligned actors already have a public record that statements were insufficient, which is the standing predicate for unilateral action.
