Watan TV, a Badr Organization-aligned outlet, carried two lines from the programme "كلمة الفصل مع سعد العوفي" on 27 July 2026: Mikhlad al-Dharb at 19:41 saying "حملة الزيدي لا تستثني احد ووصلت لمثنى السامرائي السياسي من الخط الأول" ("the Zaidi campaign exempts no one and has reached Muthanna al-Samarrai, a first-rank politician"), and Mahdi Karim at 19:22 saying "للزيدي ألغي وزارة الكهرباء" ("to al-Zaidi: abolish the electricity ministry"). Separately at 19:00, AAH's official Al-Ahad TV aired Hamid al-Musawi, spokesman for the Badr parliamentary bloc, on the programme "نصف دائرة" saying the bloc gave the Board of Supreme Audit a deadline to produce a three-year report, that the board's head claimed more than 9,000 violations, that parliament decided to host the board's head and the violating institutions, that "the audit board should reform itself before it reforms others," that the Kadhimi government ignored the previous parliament's electricity recommendations, that the electricity minister pledged to open all ministry files, that files in earlier governments were closed by outside interventions, that the bloc demanded balance in contract signing, and that General Electric holds 58 projects in Iraq. Visual review confirms the on-screen identification of al-Musawi as the Badr bloc spokesman.
Contract balance, audit deadlines and hosting of institutions before parliament are the levers by which a faction converts committee seats into control of electricity money and appointments, and Badr is now working all three simultaneously.
