Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) posted at 14:06 a statement attributed to al-Husseini: "عقود التشغيل المشترك في وزارة الصحة تابعة لخميس الخنجر" ("the joint-operation contracts in the Ministry of Health belong to Khamis al-Khanjar"). At 14:59 the same channel carried al-Tamimi saying the demand to dismiss directors-general "is not limited to the Basra education director-general but everyone who has stayed in post more than four years, across all institutions" ("لايقتصر على مدير عام تربية البصرة بل كل من مضى على مكوثه في المنصب اكثر من أربع سنوات و بمختلف المؤسسات"). Neither claim is corroborated elsewhere in the collected material, and no response from Khanjar's bloc or the Health Ministry appears.
A four-year tenure rule applied "across all institutions" would open every senior directorate to reappointment at once, and the Khanjar allegation attaches a named rival to a specific ministry's contract stream — both are moves on the machinery through which patronage is distributed.
