Within twenty-one minutes on the evening of 23 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) published three segments on the same subject: Sadiqoun member Israa al-Hujaimi saying Fayyad gave no acceptable excuse for missing parliament, that Qais al-Khazali had put questions to him about the warning information and got an answer resembling his media answer, that there is a clear shortcoming in his work, and that Sadiqoun is not seeking the PMF chairmanship as is being promoted; Sadiqoun MP Ahmed al-Asadi saying the bloc does not target Fayyad politically and wants answers on the aggression files; and political analyst Muhammad al-Yasiri saying pressure is being applied by some Coordination Framework forces — "the old men" — to postpone hosting Fayyad, and that the prime minister withdrew the PMF law because of the age of PMF leaders. The rung is credible: three separate speakers on the movement's own official channel converge on the same demand within the same programme block, and nothing in the window contradicts it.
