On 11 September, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) published an image it presented as an order from Baghdad’s Al-Karkh First Investigation Court to block Basim Khashan’s X account inside Iraq. The reproduced document bears the date 29 July 2026 and cites allegedly offensive and misleading content that provokes discord, along with Iraqi Penal Code articles 229, 372 and 433.
