On the evening of 21 August, Al-Ahad TV published a card quoting Dr Ibrahim al-Sultani, described as a researcher in political and legal affairs, saying parliament has the right to dismiss an official who does not attend a summons, that if negligence by Falih al-Fayyadh is established he faces accountability through the military court, and that he could face severe penalties "up to execution" for failing to appear. The item also states that a non-attending official may be seeking to obstruct parliament's oversight role. The evidence establishes the broadcast and the wording; it does not show that any military-court referral exists.

“If negligence by al-Fayyadh is established, he will face accountability through the military court — al-Fayyadh could face severe penalties, up to execution, for failing to attend the parliamentary session.”
في حال ثبوت تقصير الفياض سيتبعه حساب عن طريق المحكمة العسكرية — الفياض قد يتعرض لعقوبات خطيرة تصل الى الاعدام لعدم حضوره جلسة البرلمان
Watch: a Sadiqoun bloc statement naming Fayyadh; a formal parliamentary dismissal motion or military-court referral; a response from Fayyadh's office or the PMF; or other faction channels picking up or contradicting the execution framing — any of these moves this file.
