Late on 7 August, a statement attributed to Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada leader Abu Alaa al-Walaei said the Islamic Resistance in Iraq delayed its response at the request of Coordination Framework leaders, foremost Abu Hassan al-Ameri, that reconsideration of the response's timing, size and type "remains ongoing" as a doctrinal and national duty, and that "those concerned" should use this interval to restore Iraq's rights in proportion to the damage from the aggression. It was carried within roughly half an hour by KSS-aligned Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi, KH-affiliated Sabereen News and AAH's own Al-Ahad TV, whose graphic reproduced the full text under Walaei's name and handle. The rung rests on three separate faction networks carrying the same wording, including AAH's official broadcaster; no independent line outside the militia channels is in hand on the underlying aggression or the pause.
