Within twenty minutes late on 7 August, KH-affiliated Sabereen News and Unit 10,000, KSS-aligned Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi and Badr's official Al-Ghadeer TV each reported that leave had been opened to all security-force personnel with the exception of commanders and officers. Al-Ghadeer TV attributed it to an unnamed "source" and localised it to the Interior Ministry; the other three carried it as a general security-forces measure with no attribution. No issuing authority, order number or official confirmation appears in the evidence, and no outside coverage of the measure is in hand.
