A press flash at 11:38 on 29 July quoted the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq stating "20 killed and 32 wounded in a non-final tally from attacks that targeted a number of our headquarters in Iraqi provinces"; the report names no perpetrator, no province and no ordnance. Within the following two hours, tracked militia channels supplied the attribution the reporting does not: Kataib Hezbollah's Al-Ittijah TV (official) described "an unjust Saudi-American aggression", Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) wrote "the American-Saudi terrorist aggression on Iraq", Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) wrote "the Wahhabi-American aggression", and Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) wrote "the treacherous Saudi-American aggression". No supplied militia source claims a retaliatory action of its own.
Watch: an Iraqi government or military statement naming a perpetrator; independent reporting fixing the struck provinces; a claimed retaliatory strike under any Islamic Resistance in Iraq brand; a revised final casualty tally; any of these moves this file.
