On 7 September, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official), Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official), Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) and Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) reported that PMF intelligence or the PMF apprehended one Islamic State member in the Nineveh Plain. The reports identified neither the PMF formation nor the detained person, and no Iraqi authority or press report has independently confirmed the operation.
