KH channels promise a harsh response and mourn unnamed dead

Kataib Hezbollah's affiliated Sabereen News said "in our hearts is a fire that does not die out, and its flames will not calm until a harsh response comes", and posted two eulogies naming no incident, while KH's Al-Ittijah TV carried MPs demanding military retaliation

WHAT HAPPENED

Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) posted this morning: "In our hearts is a fire that does not die out, and its flames will not calm until a harsh response comes that achieves what we see as a right." The same channel published two eulogistic items with no incident report attached: a verse lament that "from the first light of dawn their death notices flew... the rocket of treachery lost their meanings, their names are recorded in Husayn's procession", and "May God have mercy on you, Abu al-Sowf al-Furaiji", both accompanied in one case by an image of a worn combat boot in what visual review suggests is a medical setting. Separately, Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official) posted "we rid ourselves of the swine of the Gulf, a death notice comes out from Lebanon". KH's official Al-Ittijah TV and Sabereen News both carried Deputy Zuhair Shahid al-Fatlawi calling the strikes "a treacherous aggression and a blatant assault by people whose nature is treachery, with total government silence", and Unit 10,000 and Sabereen News carried Harakat Hoquq deputy Saud al-Saadi calling on the Commander-in-Chief "to shoulder his responsibilities and order a military response to the brutal Saudi-American aggression".

WHY IT MATTERS

KH is signalling that the response it expects is kinetic rather than diplomatic, which places it against Badr's state-routed line and raises the risk of a unilateral claim in the coming days.
