Between 21:08 and 21:35 on 12 August, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated), Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated), Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official) and Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) each published the same sentence reporting that Brigadier General Murtadha Abd al-Sattar Abd al-Karim had been moved from commander of the Second Mechanized Brigade to commander of the Fifth Federal Police Division on the Rusafa side of Baghdad.
