On 17 September, FAA (Ansar Allah al-Awfiya — official) relayed MP Murtada al-Saadi’s congratulations to Maysan’s new security leadership and thanks to its predecessors. MP Murtada al-Saadi called for continuous monitoring, reliance on accurate information and rapid evaluation and personnel changes after any security incident, while describing Maysan as having distinctive security conditions.
