On the morning of 18 August, KH-affiliated Sabereen News posted an image of a person lying on the ground beside an Iraqi flag captioned as farmers' condition "after assaults by riot forces, serious injuries." Seven minutes later KSS-affiliated iNEWS carried farmers saying agriculture had stopped for lack of liquidity and that they had not been paid for crops delivered to the silos. Al-Janoub TV then reported "friction between government forces and farmers demanding their overdue dues" in Baghdad. Only the KH-affiliated channel alleges force by riot units and injuries; the two others describe non-payment and friction without naming an assault.

“Friction between government forces and farmers demanding their overdue dues in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.”
احتكاك بين القوات الحكومية والفلاحين المطالبين بمستحقاتهم المتأخرة في العاصمة العراقية بغداد
The harder allegation of state force against protesting farmers is carried by one KH-affiliated channel while its peers carry only arrears and friction, so a reader taking the network as one voice would over-read the violence claim.
