Al-Ahad TV, Asaib Ahl al-Haq's official media, had posted at 17:49 MP Amer Nasrallah saying 'there are large corruption files inside the Electricity Ministry that prevent the provision of power', filmed against Iraqi parliament banners. Badr Organization spokesman Hamid al-Moussawi, on the same Al-Ahad TV programme, separately said 24 trillion dinars in company profits never reached the treasury. Kataib Hezbollah's Al-Ittijah TV, Unit 10,000 and Sabereen News, and Nujaba's Jehad Brothers Team, were not observed carrying electricity-file criticism in the collected window.
The electricity file is the most politically potent service grievance in Iraq, and factions that own the accusation position themselves to claim credit for any remedy and to influence who runs the ministry and its contracts.
