On the evening of 13 August, Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official) carried three items on Jurf al-Nasr within an hour: an exchange between Tabarak al-Husseini and Mukhalad Hazem over what it called the area's security knot; Wael al-Rikabi stating that 80 percent of Jurf's residents are not from the area and that the agricultural contracts have expired; and Mukhalad Hazem objecting that the state does not want to renew those contracts. All three come from one faction's own channel, with no outside coverage of the exchange in the collected window.
