On 15 August, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) reported that Karbala tribal and clan sheikhs joined counterparts in Babil in rejecting the description of Jurf al-Nasr’s liberation as “occupation.” It also relayed a statement excluding people alleged to have participated in or cooperated with terrorism from entering Jurf al-Nasr.
