At 23:19 UTC on 9 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted a split-screen interview segment captioned as Falih al-Khazali, head of the Muntasirun bloc, responding "in a southern chant" to information that the government had been notified before the shelling of the PMF. The caption does not give his response and does not say who carried out the shelling. The visible on-screen banner in the same segment quoted him on a different subject entirely — that the Turkish presence threatens security and peace in Iraq. The rung is preponderance: the channel's caption is clear, but the answer itself, the identity of any attacker, and any outside coverage of a notification are all absent.

“In a southern chant… Muntasirun bloc head MP Falih al-Khazali responds to information that the government was notified before the shelling of the PMF / al-Khazali: the Turkish presence threatens security and peace in Iraq”
بهوسة جنوبية… رئيس كتلة منتصرون النائب فالح الخزعلي يرد على معلومات إبلاغ الحكومة قبل قصف الحشد / الخزعلي: الوجود التركي يهدد الأمن والسلم في العراق
Watch: publication of al-Khazali's actual wording, any faction or state statement naming who shelled the PMF, and any confirmation or denial from the government that it was told in advance — any of these moves this file.
