Between 10:58 and 11:29 on 20 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) carried four consecutive items from its programme Qabl al-Ghad attacking PMF chairman Faleh al-Fayyad: Abbas Ghadeer said the summons was documented and non-attendance "must have consequences," and, citing a saying of the late Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, flagged a legal violation on the grounds that the head of the PMF Commission must be independent of politics; Ahmed Adnan said whoever does not answer parliament's summons does not respect state institutions, and alleged both internal and external pressure to prevent Fayyad's questioning. The evidence is a single channel, but it is that faction's own official station and the statements are repeated by two named speakers across four posts; no other tracked faction was observed addressing Fayyad in the window.
