On August 23, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) carried Muhammad al-Yasiri’s claim that political pressure was blocking a parliamentary hosting of Falah al-Fayyad. Thirty-five minutes later, it aired Hashim al-Husseini, identified as deputy head of the Center for Political Development and Good Governance, describing possible administrative measures in the Fayyad case as suspension from duties and imprisonment for one to seven years. Neither item established that Parliament had scheduled the hosting or that an administrative or judicial authority had imposed the measures.
