AAH channel airs ISIS-support accusation against Khamis Khanjar

Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) aired al-Moussawi accusing Khamis Khanjar of having supported ISIS and of attacking the Popular Mobilization Forces, under the on-screen line "the right of response is guaranteed"

WHAT HAPPENED

Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted two clips from its programme "الحد الفاصل" (Al-Hadd al-Fasil) shortly after midnight on 31 July. The first, at 00:03, carries the line "الموسوي: المدعو خميس خنجر دعم داعش ويهاجم الحشد الشعبي" — "al-Moussawi: the so-called Khamis Khanjar supported ISIS and attacks the Popular Mobilization Forces"; the second, at 00:08, asks "وفق منطقه.. سرمد الخنجر يهاجم ، فما الدوافع ؟" — "by his own logic, Sarmad al-Khanjar attacks; so what are the motives?" Both carry the standing on-screen phrase "حق الرد مكفول" ("the right of response is guaranteed"), and visual review of the second clip shows a further banner reading "الموسوي: السعودية تتعمد استهداف العراق منذ 2003 وحتى الان" — "al-Moussawi: Saudi Arabia has deliberately targeted Iraq from 2003 until now." No other tracked channel in the collected window carried the accusation.

WHY IT MATTERS

An AAH broadcast naming a Sunni political financier as an ISIS supporter, alongside a claim that Riyadh has targeted Iraq for two decades, sets the vocabulary AAH's political bloc can carry into institutional disputes over the Popular Mobilization Forces.
