Between 18:42 and 18:56 on 1 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted seven items on the same theme: the Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc's push to pass the Popular Mobilization Forces law, its call for an emergency session, analyst Jasim al-Mousawi demanding the Prime Minister's Office and Foreign Ministry summon the Saudi ambassador with a protest note, analyst Qasim al-Tamimi calling Iraqi diplomacy "shy" and the Foreign Ministry's position weak, and former Youth and Sports Minister Ahmad al-Mubarqa demanding urgent diplomatic action. Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) added a report at 19:15 framing the response to "the Saudi aggression" as a test of Baghdad's ability to impose and preserve sovereignty. The line is carried across two factions' official channels within the same hour, and the positions belong to the quoted analysts and politicians as relayed by those channels.
