At 19:51 and 19:52 on 12 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) aired security expert Saif Raad and political researcher Abbas Ghadeer on its "Siyasi al-Abaad" programme. Raad said there had been warnings about some factions continuing to strike neighbouring states, that information about the PMF being targeted had arrived before and not been acted on, that if the notification of the aggression was accurate then "we are talking about trading in PMF blood", that closing 71 fictitious headquarters points to a defect in the PMF directorate, and that contributing to not passing information to the targeted headquarters is "betrayal". Ghadeer asked why so many casualties were incurred "if al-Fayyad knew the timing of the strikes", demanded an investigatory council, and said all problems end with passing the PMF law, saluting the Sadiqoun bloc for adopting it.

“There were warnings about some factions continuing to strike neighbouring states... if the notification of the aggression is accurate then we are talking about "trading" in PMF blood... closing 71 fictitious headquarters indicates a defect in the PMF directorate... contributing to not passing the information to the targeted headquarters is "betrayal"”

“Why did we suffer all these casualties if al-Fayyad knew the timing of the strikes?... The Saudi aggression requires an investigatory council to identify who was negligent... All problems end with passing the PMF law, and I salute the Sadiqoun bloc for adopting it”
Blame for the reported casualties is being directed at PMF administration and at a named PMF figure from inside an allied faction's official media, while the remedy offered is legislation that would formalise the institution over its individual commanders.
