Between 14:55 and 16:37 on 29 July 2026 an identical statement issued in the name of Islamic Resistance in Iraq appeared on Al-Ilam al-Harbi and Ilam al-Muqawama (Islamic Resistance in Iraq — affiliated), Sabereen News, Unit 10,000, KAF Center and Al-Ittijah TV (Kata'ib Hezbollah — affiliated and official), Al-Nujaba TV and Jehad Brothers Team (Nujaba — official and affiliated), Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada — affiliated), Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official), Asaib Ahl al-Haq's official armed group channel and, in banner form, Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated). The text states "after the Islamic Resistance confirmed its categorical denial of any targeting of the Saudi entity and its installations, the American enemy committed a new crime" against Popular Mobilization men and a convoy serving pilgrims of Imam Hussein in Karbala, "claiming dozens of martyrs and wounded"; calls the Saudi system "a treacherous dagger or a dirty tool run from the White House"; argues that if the resistance handed its weapons and missiles to the government, the state would have to prove it could deter aggressors; and then declares two points — "first: we grant the government bodies that demanded the resistance disarm a deadline of at most the twenty-third of the month of Safar, to see what they will do", and "second… our response to the American enemy is coming without doubt, and may reach its tools in Saudi Arabia whenever circumstances require", deferred to protect Arbaeen pilgrims until the rites are complete. Available evidence does not identify which constituent group authored the text; no tracked channel in the collected window carried a qualification or a competing version.
The same document simultaneously disclaims one attack and pre-claims another, with a fixed calendar date attached to a demand on the Iraqi government rather than on a foreign adversary.
