Sabereen News (KH — affiliated media) published this morning a notice in the name of the Popular Mobilization Forces authority inviting participation in the funeral of "a constellation of the martyrs of the Arbaeen, of Iraqis and advisors, who ascended following the treacherous American-Saudi aggression which targeted our heroic security forces in a number of areas of Iraq" ("العدوان الأمريكي السعودي الغادر الذي استهدف قواتنا الأمنية البطلة"), with processions the same day in Karbala at 17:00 from the governorate roundabout toward the area between the two shrines, and in Najaf at 21:00 from Tusi Street toward the shrine of Imam Ali. Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official media) carried the identical text roughly half an hour later, the only republication match in the window. The notice gives no names, no casualty count, no dates and no locations of the alleged strikes, and no supplied statement from Washington or Riyadh appears in the collected material; among tracked actors, only these two channels are observed carrying it.
The funeral notice converts an otherwise unreported casualty event into a public mobilization in Karbala and Najaf, and fixes an American-Saudi authorship of it in the muqawama's own record before any independent account exists.
