WHAT HAPPENED

On 3 October, Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated/aligned media) and Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) reported that the PMF apprehended two alleged drug traffickers and seized 10 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine west of Nineveh. Both publications carried the same location, arrest count and seizure weight, while Unit 10,000 specifically attributed the operation to PMF security.

WHY IT MATTERS

The KH-affiliated framing expands the account from two arrests to action against drug networks; the AAH-owned caption stays with the reported arrests and seizure.
