WHAT HAPPENED

On the morning of 16 August, three militia channels carried continuing-action language about a composite missile-and-drone attack. Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) moved first, calling the attack “blessed” and “continuing”; Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) followed with “Allahu Akbar”; Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) then named the subject as “Saudi mercenary forces.” No statement in the name of Islamic Resistance in Iraq appeared, and no outside coverage of the attack claim appeared.

The same attack phrase crossed a Badr official outlet and two KH-affiliated channels within four minutes, while only Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) named a Saudi subject. Islamic Resistance in Iraq, the Popular Mobilization Forces, Kataib al-Imam Ali and Ansar Allah al-Awfiya said nothing about the attack.
