On 15 August, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) said that members of the Islamic resistance were holding vulnerable areas that threaten Iraq’s security. Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) separately carried a Jurf al-Nasr gathering’s slogan that the land would remain with its liberators and relayed purported Karbala tribal sheikhs saying alleged terrorism collaborators would not enter Jurf al-Nasr.
