Badr's political office chief rules out force against the resistance

WHAT HAPPENED

A signed statement attributed to Muhammad Naji Muhammad, head of the Badr Organization's political office, was published on 13 August at 21:41 by Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated), with a portrait and the office's branding visible in the graphic. It says the prime minister rushed into the weapons file and repeats it almost daily, expresses fear he fell under American pressure, calls any tone hinting at imposing force "a major transgression", and states that Badr will not allow him or anyone to reach that level with "the brothers in the resistance" because it opens the door to internal strife benefiting the United States and Israel. It sets three conditions for consolidating weapons — full American withdrawal, the removal of strategic threats to Iraq, and complete construction of the Iraqi armed forces including air defence — and credits Hadi al-Amiri with smothering a sedition that nearly ignited, proposing he take a coordinating role. The rung rests on a single carrier: the statement text and the visual review of the graphic agree on wording and attribution, but no Badr-owned channel in the collected window carries it.

What has reached us of a tone hinting at imposing force — if true — is a major transgression, and we will not allow the prime minister or anyone else to reach this level in dealing with the brothers in the resistance, because that opens the door to internal strife, whose beneficiary first and last is the United States and the Zionist entity.

WHY IT MATTERS

A named Badr political office holder has publicly set conditions on the state's weapons-consolidation file and named internal strife as the consequence of coercion, which raises the political cost of enforcement and places Hadi al-Amiri forward as the proposed broker.
