On the evening of 22 August, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) carried three items in nine minutes: Ali al-Madhoush, identified by the channel as a member of the Kataib Hezbollah representation in Basra, saying there is clear targeting of the resistance through moves toward disarming it; the same speaker saying the resistance will not surrender its weapons and will not permit the return of takfiris; and a Second 20 Revolution Alliance statement rejecting the return of takfiris to Jurf al-Nasr and calling for preserving the weapons of the mujahidin. The rung holds at credible because the channel is KH's own official outlet and identifies the speaker's affiliation itself; what is missing is any KH leadership signature or a named authority for the alliance statement.
