Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) this evening ran a string of Before Tomorrow clips in which Victory Coalition spokesman Salam al-Zubaidi said Falih al-Fayyad had taken the PMF chairmanship as a title deed, mixed the force with politics to obtain seats, held only a ceremonial post, and that the loss of lives could have been avoided because of information Fayyad had received. Political analyst Hussein al-Ibrahimi, on the same channel, cited 22 dead and more than 30 wounded, called for a wide and rapid investigation of the prime minister’s notification of Fayyad about the timing of the strike on PMF headquarters, and said results were overdue on what he called Saudi-American targeting of the PMF. Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) labeled the segments with a right-of-reply notice; neither speaker is an AAH official.
