Between 08:23 and 08:49 on 21 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) and Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) each carried Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi from the Baghdad International Dialogue saying all political forces fully agree on confining weapons to the state, that work is underway on mechanisms for handing weapons over, and that weapons outside the state framework repel investment. At 08:53 Shafaq News published what it labelled an exclusive on alleged details of Asaib Ahl al-Haq handing locally produced and Iranian drones to the state. The two lines are separate items: the militia channels carried the prime minister's words verbatim and added nothing; nothing in the collected material shows an AAH channel addressing the Shafaq report.
